Intensive Moscow's Attacks Disrupt Electricity Across Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have faced escalating strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have caused blackouts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were injured while local people in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and dealt with disruption to water supplies, according to municipal leaders.

At the same time, a young boy was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has increased assaults on energy facilities over the past few days, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, the EU and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and implementing restrictions," he wrote in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 projectiles struck energy facilities, characterizing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.

A series of attacks hit power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, per statements from city authorities.

Regional authorities said the city endured intense attacks overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and several individuals were injured.

The assaults follow periods of air raids in the area, parts of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

The entire country is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to identify.

Government officials told the media that Russia was deliberately attempting to damage the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already impacting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and officials were preparing for further attacks.
